LeipziXP ist eine Initiative von Sébastien Branche (Saxofonist, Klangkünstler) und Diane Martinot (Künstlerin, Fotografin), die Szene experimenteller Musik zusammen und in Fokus zu bringen.

Während eines Wochenendes werden 8 Musiker und Musikerin sowie 1 Komponist sich treffen – in Solos, Duos, Quartett oder Oktett, um verschiedene Seite zu vorstellen, was die Leipziger experimentelle Musikszene bietet.

Für diese erste Edition gibt es einen besonderen Focus über reduktiver sowie elektroakustischer Musik. Perkussion, Kontrabass, Saxofon und Elektronik werden in improvisierter sowie komponierter Forme gemischt, eine Genuss für die Ohren bieten und die Neugier der Entdeckung ausfüllen.

15 und 16 Dezember geht es los in Pöge Haus in Leipziger Osten, Konzerte sind auf Spendenbasis und wir freuen uns auf Euch!

LeipziXP is an initiative from Sébastien Branche (saxophonist and soundartist) and Diane Martinot (artist, photographer), which aims to bring together the experimental music scene, as well as bring it in focus.

During one weekend, 8 musicians and 2 composers will meet and play concerts in solo,duos, quartet or octet to present you different sides of what the Leipzig experimental music scene has to offer.

For this first edition, a special focus was placed on reductive and electroacoustic music. Percussions, double-bass, saxophone and electronics will be mixed in improvised or written forms for the pleasure of your ears and the curiosity of discovery.

It starts on 15th and 16th December in the Pöge Haus in Leipzig East, concerts are on donation and we are looking forward to your visit!
